Originally founded in Delaware in 2010, RRE (Renewable Resource Energy) Power is a self-funded greenfield and brownfield solar developer on a high growth trajectory looking for investment and development partners as well as operators interested in buying projects at NTP. Known for their development of the 144 MWp Pflugerville Solar Farm currently operated by Duke Energy Renewables, RRE Power was a trailblazer in breaking down barriers and bringing utility solar into Texas.

RRE believes in achieving scale through leveraging the strengths of its team and development partners by
undertaking greenfield development, co-development, and asset acquisitions depending upon the strength of our business partners. RRE develops projects from inception through securing land leases and purchase contracts in prime electricity grid locations and also acquires energy assets in the early to mid-stages of development. Our projects are currently located in Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina and are typically between 20 to 300 MW (DC). Maintaining a low cost for development from the very beginning creates a mitigating strategy to risks created by dynamic industry price points. We have partnerships across the entire value chain to maintain our benchmark for utility-scale PV project development, expecting a typical PV system cost of construction by 2021 of $0.80/Wp with additional cost reductions in the future. Currently RRE Power is looking to expand into new markets and has over 1 GW (DC) of projects in our pipeline and construction, with an additional 500+ MWp of potential new projects being secured. With solar power quickly becoming the cheapest energy source, RRE Power plans to build a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future.
